First Aid Training

Care Training Services offers a wide range of regulated First Aid qualifications. Whether you need First Aid training for work or want to learn first aid for your everyday life, we focus on building confidence to enable you to put your newly learned skills into practice should ever you need to.

Practical first aid sessions are mixed with theory. The groups are small to enable lots of practice time in an approach that’s proven to work for clients in many different sectors. It is important to know that within the Health & Social Care sector, online training does not meet the relevant standards without the practical assessment.

Care Training Services is committed to making First Aid easy and accessible to everyone over the age of fourteen. No prior knowledge is needed, and all courses are delivered in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

Whilst The Children’s Homes Regs, Quality Standards, Ofsted and CQC all have clear guidelines on the training that must be planned and delivered, Health and social care training’s main objective is the improvement of people within the organisation so that they, and the company, can achieve their objectives and both personal and corporate goals.

Other benefits of this training to both individuals and organisations include improved productivity and adherence to quality standards; the development of skill sets that will allow an undertaking of a greater variety of work.

All Care Training Services trainers have hands-on experience working with adults, children or both, working on the front line to area managers. We know the challenges faced at all levels and strive to keep up to date with all new legislation and ways of working to ensure that you or your organisation are up to date too.

These qualifications are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to care for others in a broad range of health or social care settings. This is the main qualification required by the CQC in England.

A Diploma in Health and Social Care is flexible to suit all fields of health and social care. Learners can select a pathway that suits their role – for example, working with people with a learning disability, people with dementia or children and young people.

These are the recognised qualifications for care workers and senior care workers in health and social care. Learners are able to progress in both their studies and their careers leading to professional workforces.

With over 20 years hands-on experience of the care sector, learners are supported by those with a real understanding of the challenges to both study and working practice.

These qualifications and training packages are designed to equip learners with the skills and knowledge needed to work safely, whether it be Health & Safety, Food Safety or Moving & Handling.

This training promotes the best working practice in a broad range of settings, giving confidence to both individuals and organisations. Along with meeting legal obligations, this training can also help to build a confident and skilled workforce, reduce the risk of accidents and injuries to individuals and others, reduces sickness and absence and show a commitment to the safety of all.

From accredited qualifications to refresher and updates, Care Training Services will ensure that the course contents fit your particular sector to promote learning and develop a positive health and safety culture, where safe and healthy working becomes second nature to everyone.
